Saw numerous surprised responses about the Columbine game...There are video games about nearly everything, although some are commercially produced and others done by amateurs (like the Columbine one)...

Here's a link to a newspaper article which both quotes the programmer who created the game (his intentions), kinda questions those statements, and talks to people affected by the actual killings. Of all the stuff I've been looking at it provides, probably, the most balanced view.
