Ok, so I know what your thinking. Max is nuts it is 6AM and he's writing his blog on what seems to be the inability to walk. Close! I want to tell you about something that consistently keeps me entertained when I'm bored and never fails to find me the coolest of cool on the interweb. StumbleUpon is a free application that Firefox users and Internet Explorer(to bad it sucks) users alike can download and install as a nifty convenient tool bar. So what IS it? It's website tells it best, it's like Channel surfing the internet to find great websites, videos, photos and more based on your interests. StumbleUpon also learns what you like and makes better recommendations toward your next stumble! Still Confused? Hmm alright, well maybe I should show you some examples of the cool things I, myself have stumbled upon and discovered!
The Harvey Danger-Flagpole Sitta Lipsink! A really chill song about a man and his triangle and for the last video I'll show a dude who just doesn't put forth much effort into waking up in the morning or feeding his turtle :D That's just a taste of some of the cool videos I find everyday!
Hmm how about some photos? We'll start off with something you'd expect, a beautiful piece of art that I just happened to stumble upon. Next we have every boy who's ever played the Xbox 360 video game Gears of Wars dream. Turning a Nerf gun and a fake chainsaw into well I'm sure you can figure it out... Now for something you'd never expect to see in your life or maybe would never have seen?(Not for the weak of stomach)
How about some comic relief? Some good stuff eh?
Well it's not all videos and pictures with stumble upon most of the time you get really interesting websites like this one about a technological advancement in brownies! or jokes like "Why I fired my secretary today"(funny trust me)
All this and more and the best part is it's free so go get it! and Tell me what you thought about all my fancy links and whether or not you would consider a application like this in your everyday life? Why or why not?
Cool Stuff
-Max
P.S. I highly suggest you take a look at all of the links and really consider getting firefox/Stumbleupon it only takes a minute and it's well worth it. :D
Happy Stumbling

My friend is obsessed with stumble upon. I think it's cool. I wouldn't use this in everyday life, I think it's a huge waste of time. I dunno, its a novelty to me.
I think the links were interesting. Although I don't know if this would be an adventitious application, but I do feel that it is something that I would find interesting. I like the art work, and I think its cool that the computer has a record of things you like, and uses this to chose other things you like. Its a creative application and one I'd think about adding. Unlink pop ups, I don't think this would be annoying, and I feel like it would introduce things into your life that you normally might not have taken a look at or seen.
actually, i would really consider this application for myself cause im online a lot. i dont like live my life on the internet, but i like to keep in touch w/ friends and stuff, and you can only facebook for so long (like facebook is a verb haha). not only would it help kill the boredom, but with the art and stuff i would become more cultured. theres never a problem to that. its a pretty simple idea, but its sweet.
I have stumble upon and I love it. I have found a bunch of cool new websites just surfing around on stumble upon when I am bored. The way that you can customize what type of sites you wish to see according to your preferences is what really makes stumble upon great. More applications like this that can customize your internet experience should be implimented.
That's pretty cool. Some of these links are really cool. The art work is interesting as well. Thanks for sharing
I'm gonna be honest at first I thought this tool bar was gonna be another cheesy rip off that they promise you on the internet but when I get on it and started surfing around I was quite surprised at what I found and more than a little impresses with the results. Good Call!
i never truly knew what it was till now but now that i do i want to get it. That joke was pretty funny. I feel like when i get this i will never get stuff done.
I really liked the links that you put up (that secretary one was hilarious) and I think that this application would be something that I would enjoy. I could see it that I just need something to lift me up or a friend of mine is down and we would look at stuff like that. I probably would consider downloading this application but I'm not going to do this now just because I know that it will be a distraction as far as my studies are concerned.
